ITunes For Windows: Switch Audio Output

I'm sure a lot of you have had this problem. I'm using ITunes 12.1.3.6

on a Windows 7 64 Bit PC computer, and I want to make it so that the

sounds from ITunes come out of my MOTU Audio Interface's "Main Out 1/2",

which are my Mackie HR824 Studio Monitors. I've tried switching

speakers within the Sound dialog box in the Control Panel, but that also

changes where the System sounds come from. I want the System Sounds to

stay on my Realtek HD Audio Output, the Sound card built in to my

computer. I've also tried switching to Windows Audio Session within the

Playback Preferences in ITunes, but that doesn't seem to work, because

ITunes seems to want to come out of whatever speaker my regular System

Sounds come out of. How do I fix this? Do I have to put in a registry

key to make it stay? If so, what do I write?

I believe iTunes can only output to the system audio channel.

That seems rather interesting, because in something like Windows Media

Player, there's an option that allows you to switch which speakers your

sound is coming from. For example, I can switch between all the outputs

on my Realtek HD Audio soundcard, built in to my computer, and my MOTU

Audio Interface, externally connected via Firewire. If Windows Media Player can do it, why can't ITunes?
