Touch Bar has stopped working after reboot

The Touch Bar of my MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2019) with Mojave 10.14.5 has stopped working. It still displays information and its display changes when I change apps but nothing happens when I try to press the bar virtual buttons. The problem started after a reboot. Further reboots haven't fixed the problem.

I have read that it is possible to refresh the Touch Bar by manually killing the “Touch Bar agent” process. I do not know if it is linked to my problem but when I look at the Activity Monitor, I cannot find any Touch Bar agent.

Any hint?
