Disable 4th Gen Apple TV Live Preview when cursor on app

A number of apps on the 4th gen Apple TV give previews of movies in the top menu area even when you do not click into the app. Is there a way to switch that setting to off so a person has to click into the app itself?

Apps in the top row on the Home Screen will show their banner above that row. All apps have a banner, but only the top row can show (when selected).

That banner can be static, or interactive (selectable items). The interactive banner can be promotional (new items) or functional (favorites, recently played, etc.)

If you don’t want the banner for an app to be shown at all, then move the app icon to the second row or further down.
