Microphone near the front camera and siri are not working. When on a call and speaker is turned on, caller can not hear me. Any suggestion or fix?

Microphone/speaker does not work The microphone/speaker appears to be broken; I can not use Siri or any dictation, answer or make phone calls. During incoming phone calls, I can answer but I can hear them and they can’t hear anything on their end. I have tried cleaning it as suggested, tried Memo, anything that has to do with microphone/speaker being used.

People can't hear me Something is wrong with my microphone, people can't hear me and I can't use Siri. The camera microphones work fine and you know when you highlight a word you get 'Copy' 'Look Up' 'Share' and 'Speak'? Well 'Speak' is gone, so it's probably not just a hardware issue.

Try to clean the earpiece with a soft brush.

If you get no improvements, have your device inspected at an Apple Store or AASP.
