Pages update

I am running MacOS Mojave, version 10.14.5 on my MacBook Pro Retina. When I tried to update Pages from the App Store, after being notified, it would not do so. I then went to the App Store again, searched for Pages, and got a prompt to update, and it worked. Just sayin', this fix worked for me.

Can't open pages documents Hello, I am using a MacBook Air (13-inch, Mid 2011) with El Capitan 10.11.6. I tried to open a pages document a message pops up saying "It's time to update" and I was sent to a web page that sent me to the App store to update. I just seems to keep pinwheeling as if its downloading but nothing ever happens. Thanks for any help

Not my experience here. Just installed as usual on 10.14.5 from the Mac App Store.
