Bluetooth connection

New iPhone XR. Reset my Apple Watch several times and paired with new phone. All seems to be working except—watch is not finding Bluetooth. Phone says they are connected. Sooo I don’t receive notifications on watch for messages, calls, etc

It’s not possible to turn Bluetooth off in the Apple Watch. Since this is a weird problem of your iPhone saying that it’s connected, but your Watch disagreeing, I’d go ahead and contact Apple Support.
