New iPhone XR. Reset my Apple Watch several times and paired with new phone. All seems to be working except—watch is not finding Bluetooth. Phone says they are connected. Sooo I don’t receive notifications on watch for messages, calls, etc

It’s not possible to turn Bluetooth off in the Apple Watch. Since this is a weird problem of your iPhone saying that it’s connected, but your Watch disagreeing, I’d go ahead and contact Apple Support.
Try resetting your watch by pressing in the crown and side button until you see the Apple logo, then release both. Next try turning on your bluetooth again.
thanks. I’ve tried that several times but as soon as I pair with phone again, watch says its searching for Bluetooth. I can’t stop it from searching. 😥
Try turning your bluetooth off...then on again and see if that helps.
That’s my problem. I can’t turn Bluetooth off on my watch.
