Recipients are receiving duplicate photos.

I have an Outlook email and a Yahoo mail funneled into my Apple mailbox. When I attach and send a photo from Apple Mail (using either address to send), the recipient receives duplicate photos. How do I stop this?

However, when someone replies to that email and chooses to include the original photos with the reply, my photos return to me looking distorted and ugly. Is there a way to prevent that? I have seen this with multiple versions of MacOS and Apple email versions. I am currently running 10.15.7. When I send an email from my Intel 2020 MacBookAir with 2-3 photos they look great. I thought sending png instead of jpeg might help but that did not have any effect. I have also tried the "Actual Size," "Large," and "Medium" settings with the mail app but that does not seem to have an effect either. If your solution includes "Update to the latest version of MacOS," I am willing to do that. However, before I do that, please outline what the fundamental problem was and what was changed in newer versions of Apple Mail or MacOS to address that.

Mac Mail inlay attached photo become attachment files once customer received Hi All, May I check whether someone have meet the problem same as my situation or not? photos in emails I have Ventura 13.4. I cannot send more than 3 photos attached to an email. How am I supposed to send them now? Very frustrating to have this keep changing. Also, my finger ID no longer works.

If I understand your post correctly, the recipient gets two photos when you send an email with a single photo attached from Mail on your Mac. I’d like to help.

Are you attaching your photos with the steps in this article:

Does this happen when you send mail with webmail for either of these accounts?
