Time capsule
Why is my time capsule blinking amber?
Possibly, because there is a firmware update available for the product.
To find out if that might be the case.......
Open AirPort Utility on your Mac (Finder > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility)
Click on the picture of the Time Capsule and smaller window will appear
Do you see an Update button? If yes, click it to update the firmware on the Time Capsule
If not, look for Status, and click on the small amber dot there to find out why the Time Capsule is whining
