Taking control of my Dad's iPhone to help him

Hello Community,

I recently got my dad a new iPhone XR so that its easy for me to share photos, iCloud storage and location data with him. He switched from Android and he is still learning how to to use his new iPhone.

Is there any way to for me to control his iPhone XR from my iPhone XS in case he needs any help from me. We are not on the same WiFi network and we live little far and its not feasible for me to drive all the way to his place in case he needs help.

Please let me know of any way to accomplish this and make my dads life easier.
