support for 24.000fps vs 23.976

I have an issue with AppleTV 4K version. I use the match frame rate feature - however ATV does not play films encoded 24.000 FPS back correctly. It seems ATV only supports playback at 23.976 FPS - this results in skipped frames (every c40 seconds or so) for those films encoded at 24.000 FPS which is very annoying. The majority of films are at 23.976 (so no problem) - however I have a number of films purchased from iTunes that do not play back without the glitch. For me this makes them unwatchable

I just wanted to know if Apple are aware of the issue and plan to do anything about it. I know the Blu-ray hardware standard is support for both 24 and 23.976 and so no problems. Seems odd Apple TV not support this given given they are selling content on iTunes at 24.000fps.
