Composer view in the Music App

It is good that on the Music applications on IOS one can sort and search albums by composers. However, it seems that the Apple database is inconsistent as for the exact search term. Among my downloaded (purchased) music I find albums labeled as composed by "Beethoven, Ludwig van" and others by "Ludwig van Beethoven". As a result, if I have to search a specific album I have to search in both terms, which is kind of a drag. The question is: is there a way, on the Music App, to edit the entry? I can understand that Apple may receive inconsistent entries from the music publisher, and they just forward the metadata to the users; I am happy to adapt my entries if necessary. I just do not know how.

I know I can change the composer entry on iTunes, and the composer search works with this on iTunes. But I am worried that with the disapperance of iTunes, replaced by the Music App on MacOs, this facility will also disappear...
