My mom's Iphone 8 updated overnight to 12.3.2 automatically - and now she cannot hear callers and callers cannot hear her. It's as if the microphone and speaker were shut off. She can receive phone calls and make them - but cannot communicate with the caller.
What do we do?
If she isn’t using a case or a cover that could be causing this problem, try a forced restart and see if that fixes it.
Press and quickly release the Volume Up button. Press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Press and hold the Side button until you see the Apple logo.
