How do I get my phone to work again after the current software screwed it ip and I can’t hear people on phone calls

The problem still persists. This has never happened to this phone ever before. After updating the software, whenever I made a phone call, I didn’t hear the filing sound, nothing. Whenever I answered a call with the phone to my ear, I heard nothing. The only way for me to hear the sounds or the callers’ voices was to put the calls on speaker phone or plug in my earphones. How do I fix this. The updated software screwed up my phone.
