activation lock i purchased an iphone 6 from goodwill a few months ago which is a store for donated good, and the phone was unlocked so i tried to factory reset it to wipe all the previous users info but i got hit with activation lock and now have no way to find and contact previous owner or unlock the phone and its been months.

Activation Lock I want to completely reset an iphone I bought from somebody and it says locked to owner and I don't know who has the original account.. I want to factory reset the phone and start my own iPhone account..

You don't release the Activation Lock without the assistance of the original owner who set it. He is the only one capable of releasing it.
