I have never used Pages. I take Phone JPGS of historical documents. Do I correct minor size and tilts before or after I enter them into Pages?

Pages v8.1 (current) can open (and translate) Word .doc/.docx, RTF, text, and Pages '05 thru v8.1 documents. It can accept single-page PDF dropped on it, as well as Photoshop (.psd), and illustrator (.ai) files, along with other mainstream image (but not .svg) formats. It can export Word .doc/.docx, RTF, PDF, text, and ePub 3 documents.
Fix your images before you drop them into Pages as Pages is not an image editor. It does however, offer image rotation and cropping.
Try asking in the Pages Help Community.

You confirmed what I was thinking. I have copied a 14 page historical genealogy I think I should put it into pages and turn it into a pdf before sending to a genealogy group. Comments
Ask the genealogy group what format they want it in.
