My iPhone X Face ID stopped working and i am unable to setup again.
it says move your phone higher or move your phone lower after moving the phone higher/lower nothing happens. Unfortunately my warranty ran out last month and I am not sure how to fix this.

If the issue still persists, you need to have your device inspected at an Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider. After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options: Apple – Location Selector
