FCPX Freezes all the time

Hi Dear

My FCPX keeps freezing, no matter what I do. I have created another administrator account and in the new account the same happens. I have trashed preferences in both accounts and it has not solved the problem. This is crazy! I just can't work! Please help.

See my system below

FCPX 10.4.6

Mac Pro late 2015

Processor 3GHZ 8-Core Intel Xeon

36 GB memory Ram 1866 MHz DDR3

Graphics AMD FirePro D700 6GB

All this, to my mind, strongly suggests you uninstall this CUDA driver.

Go to System Preferences, locate the CUDA pane - probably in the bottom line, click it.

There should be indications for how to uninstall.

If in doubt, post a screenshot.

Hi Dear,

I thought the same and perhaps that was the case but I removed Neat Video noise reduction from the only clip I had applied and the problem persist. It seemed to me at first that the freeze happened when I was dealing with flow transition on a couple of jump cuts but then it continue even on simple cuts with no transitions. All the bites in the project have synched audio but not sure this is the problem. One possibility I am considering is the drive, it is Thunderbolt drive with 7200 rpm, which in my view is fine.

So now it freezes in any circumstances. I have boot safed the computer, re-installed final cut, opened a new account and nothing Has solved the problem.

I wonder if is the processor (2013 Mac are know for their heating problems) that heats too much at times causing the freeze?
