Error: Powerpoint found a problem with content

Using the MS Powerpoint, I am receiving a "Powerpoint found a problem with content. Powerpoint can attempt to repair the presentation...." error. This is after attempting to save a presentation that I've been working on. Online there are many solutions for Window users, but I have not found any for Apple users. Anyone know how to fix this issue?
