unable to login to my VPN on Imac or Macbook

Ever since April I have been unable to login to my VPN on my iPhone 8, my MacBook air and my iMac. My MacBook started working again for a while after I deleted the app and re-installed it and got my phone working again during a trip to the US, but then stopped again three weeks. My VPN provider thinks it is my ISP and MSP blocking the login. But, here's the kicker, my iPad, my wife's iPad and her iPhone X all work. Could this be something to do with my devices losing some sort of credentials for the login. I'm using Nord VPN and allegedly VPN's are not illegal in country of residence.

Before establishing a VPN connection, your device must have an Internet connection. In addition, if your device has a software firewall enabled, it may be the culprit of why you are not able to establish a VPN connection with your VPN client.

Without doing a data capture, it would be a bit difficult to determine where in the VPN connection process that it is failing. For example, if the client can access and establish a connection to the Nord VPN server, but cannot actually log into that server, it would point to your user credential (like you suspect).

If you try temporarily using a "free" VPN service for testing, can it connect properly? If so, I would suspect the Nord VPN client. Finally, can you successfully use the Nord client when connected to another wireless network ... like at a coffee shop?
