Left Airpod not working

Im not sure of the exact problem but whenever i try to connect my airpods to my phone or computer only the right one connects, even when i look in the bluetooth connecting in my phone only the right one is available. I think its charging right because when i check the battery level on them it says they are collectively charging but i cannot see them individually. I"m not sure if i can do something to fix the problem or should i just order a replacement.
