make macbook work only from power button

Hi,

when I shut down my macbook 💻 I don't want it to work by pressing keyboard or moving the mouse

same thing when put it on sleep. Is there any way to make it work only from power button

You do not say what exact Mac /model /year /size /retina /touchbar is this ?

Newer Mac notebooks turn on when you do these things:

Open the lid of your Mac, even if it's not connected to power.
Connect your Mac to a power adapter while its lid is open.
Connect your Mac to a power adapter while its lid is closed and it's connected to an external display.

Additionally, MacBook Pro (2018) and MacBook Air (Retina, 13-inch,

2018) turn on when you press any key on the keyboard or press the

trackpad.

even when it's shutted down still boot up if i press the keyboard

btw my friend macbook can only boot from power button except mine

It just works that way. If you want to power it back on with only using the power button, shut down your PC.

But if you just want it at sleep, there is no way since any action which is acted on your macbook will react as it is sleeping.
