PDF file

I am trying to open a pdf file from an e mail attachment. I can open other pdf attachments in the same e mail without any problems. This particular attachment opens but then goes into a cycle of constantly reloading for about 30 seconds and then goes to a grey screen. Strangely, I can open this attachment on my I phone without any problem. The I pad has been recently updated and has memory available. Any ideas?
