Trying to create a windows dual boot setup but every time I run boot camp assistant I just get an "unable to partition the drive message" and to run disk utility, but disk utility reports no errors.
I'm running Mojave 10.14.5 on a late 2012 iMac 27. I downloaded the boot camp assistant update as stated here https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201468 but that doesn't fix it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've been running through other threads and trying all the suggestions to no avail.
So far I have disabled Time Machine and ejected my Time machine drive, and just tried rebooting to single user mode and run fsck_apfs -s -o -y /dev/rdisk1 which reported no errors and the drive was OK.
I do have a 1TB fusion drive which appears to be the issue from what I'm reading.

Run
sudo tmutil deletelocalsnapshots 2019-07-08-203347
sudo tmutil deletelocalsnapshots 2019-07-09-063120
and check if you have any new ones. If not, retry BC Assistant.
Download macOS Mojave 10.14.5 Boot Camp Update and install the patch and retry BC Assistant.
I've already tried that one (twice to make sure) and still get the same error.
Post the output of
sudo fsck_apfs -n -l /dev/rdisk2
You have one snapshot. Post the output of
sudo tmutil listlocalsnapshots /
com.apple.TimeMachine.2019-07-08-203347
com.apple.TimeMachine.2019-07-09-063120
