yahoo Weather widget not working?

If it is not working, and not due to temporary network or site limitations, then do not expect Apple to provide updates to El Capitan which is long out of Apple's support window. I recommend that you seek another non-Dashboard weather source compatible with El Capitan.

I am fully aware it is not strictly an El Capitan issue, and inherently, my recommendation to seek a non-Dashboard weather source. The Weather widget was introduced by Apple in 2005 and is a JavaScript coding nightmare that has been cobbled further with subsequent patches. That old code has Yahoo! site dependencies that are not going to remain unchanged forever.

Its not El Capitan, it's broken on all systems. It's a Yahoo! issue. It's been on and off for months.

My case is on the macOS Mojave. It's not macOS issue, however Yahoo side issue.

It's died and been resuscitated several times now. I think it is EOL. ::taps::

Hasn't been working for several days. Using OS 10.13.
