Installed Windows 10 Pro using BootCamp but there is one unknown device in device manager. No amount of effort helped to find a driver for the same. It's hightime.
This is a known issue on 2018 and later models related to the Apple T2 Controller. If there are no specific issues with Windows, it can be safely ignored.
My understanding is that Apple does not want to expose parts of T2 to Windows, due to issues related to Secure Boot.

Correct.
However, I believe a patch could have been pushed to let the system not detect it as "unknown device".
Also, not sure if it's due to not having the T2 in play, but batterylife is extremely poor in bootcamp-Windows.
The issue is pretty old and yet, Apple has not been able to fix it is what irritates.
The issue is more of a Windows issue, due to the Security bits.
