Apple Classroom with shared Macs I have Macs in my classroom and all of them use the same generic userid (Student) and same password to sign on. I am trying to add students to my Apple Classroom. On the student Mac, I am using a custom name which identifies the specific MAC rather than the generic card. I use the code to add the class and I get the "waiting for approval" on the Mac. On my teacher account, I see the new student with the unique name and can add it. But then in my class list, I always only see one student, with the name "Student". Does Classroom require a unique Mac login userid for each "student"? What am I doing wrong?

How do I set up a Teacher/Student account on my ipad? Essentially i am looking for a way to have a Teacher (Admin) and a Student account on my iPad's. Where the Teacher(Admin) account has admin power and the student account can just browse the web and do basic educational work. With the student account, i do not want them to sign out of the apple id, purchase anything, turn off find my ipad, etc... Is there an easy way to achieve this? Thank you.

Apparently, there is something installed or configured differently on your machine than on hers.

Contact her school's technical support help desk for assistance.
