Remote App on Apple watch

I connected my iTunes to the remote app on my Apple Watch to be able to control my music through my watch. It worked once and now says it cannot connect. I can't figure out why. It says " Make sure Library is in range and and powered on".. I'm sitting right next to my laptop.

Can anyone help?

Watch shows no devices in Remote, even after connecting with Music on Mac I recently got a new iMac and was excited to be able to control Music from my Watch. When I connect with the remote app on the watch, I get the 4-digit code, put it into the Music player on my Mac, and am told it's connected. But the watch shows no devices, and continues to show only the 'add device' screen. In Music in the Advanced tab of Preferences it says paired with two Remotes, one would be my Watch, one would be my iPhone, which... When I try to connect iMac Music with my iPhone remote app, it connects, and shows the device, but keeps showing only 'connecting to library...', never changing to actually be able to be controlled. So my iMac thinks both devices are connected; my Watch knows nothing of its connection; and my phone is endlessly 'connecting'. Any ideas why?

Unable to reinstall iTunes remote on Apple Watch The iTunes remote was not working properly on my wife's Apple Watch series 5.v7.6.1 so I deinstalled the app from the watch and deinstalled the app from the iPhone 11 v74.7..1. I was able to reinstall the app on the phone and connect with the music library on the mac, however I could not find any way to reinstall the iTunes remote on the watch. It does not appear as an option on the watch app on the phone, in the hexagon of the apps or in the watch app library. It is working fine on my watch series 6 with the same music library. Is there a way to reinstall it on the watch? I followed this on a previous post https://discussions.apple.com/thread/251462852 and it did not work for me. Paul

Remote app not working I have the latest watch OS on Apple Watch 6 and latest MacOS on Mac Mini M2 Pro. When I select Remote I see my music library and tapping it brings up the Play triangle and the skip ahead and back icons, but tapping any of them does nothing and it does not display what my Mac Mini Music library is currently playing. The Remote app used to work fine. Not sure when it stopped, but probably in the past 3-4 months. I have tried disconnecting all devices from Wifi then reconnecting - no change. I have tried deleting the Remote app powering down the watch, restarting and reinstalling Remote - no change. I have tried deleting the music library from the Remote app, but often it won't even let me do this. When I press and hold down on the library it often will not start jiggling and I cannot delete it. Every once in a while it will let me delete the library, but when I add it again, the same result - doesn't work. The Remote apps on my phone and iPad both work fine. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Doesn’t work for me too.

i have tried to pair my aw3 with iTunes 32bit on windows 7 32 bit and it works fine. But never worked on iTunes 64bit.

You, Apple, do nothing with it for years. And it’s sad

I’ve resolved the problem by installing windows 10 x64 and thereafter iTunes x64 and connection error has gone

Also, you do not allow to install iTunes 32bit on 64 bit windows. Why?
