Quicktime lost in the cloud?

I'm trying to find my quicktime player and it keeps redirecting me to my iCloud but once I get there it shows me my desktop folder and there is no Quicktime folder there. I'm running Mojave 10.14.5 could there be a glitch somewhere? I want to be able to record a presentation with me as the onscreen presenter and I can get to what I need. HELP!
