Somewhere between updating my iphone7 to an iphone x, I lost my EXCHANGE notes in the Notes app. Before, I used to be able to create them in Outlook and they would show on my phone and vice versa; they would sync both ways. I don't know if happened with the phone upgrade or latest software update, but they're gone on my phone now. I'm on ios version 12.3.1 Anyone else having this issue? Any known resolution?

Notes WAS already enabled in my Exchange account. It indeed happened either after the last big Microsoft update in Office365, or the latest software update in iOS. I was able to find the answer on my own by going into Settings on the phone, then to Notes. I had to change the Default Account from iCloud to Exchange and then the notes re-appeared. I had restored a back up from my old phone to the new phone so there is no reason these settings would have changed other than a change propogated by Apple or Microsoft. Perhaps this can help others as I'm sure I was not the only one affected.

Make sure notes is turned on in your exchange account settings.
This has nothing to do with the software update.
If it happened after an update to Office365, then you should probably be talking to Microsoft.
