Can’t download files from GoPro7 to the newest IPad

Hi from Italy ,

when I try to download files from GoPro7 to the newest IPad , through the USB reader from micro SD , it shows a “!” sign on every video and doesn’t download it.

I did not experience any issue when doing the same procedure with a micro SD coming from my DJI drone

I really don’t know what to do, can someone help me please ?

File Transfers in Files App This is less of a question than it is a suggestion. But being able to see file transfer times would be helpful. At the moment, it’s not clear if files are transferring or not. If they ARE transferring, then it’s not clear how long I’ll have to wait. This can be extremely frustrating with larger video files. Right now I’m using a USB-C dongle to transfer GoPro videos from an SD card to an external HD. Are there any setting configurations that would make this easier, or am I going to have to wait for a firmware update? This is on an iPad Pro 11 inch. Not the iPad mini that is displayed at the bottom of this page.

iPad 9th gen can't save h265 GoPro videos on Photos app but my iPhone X can Hi guys, I have a new iPad 9th gen. Model MK2K3TY/A and I have a very serious problem with this iPad. I don’t know why but I am not able to directly save h265 videos taken with my GoPro Hero 6 (for example the 4k at 60fps) on the Apple Photos app using the Apple lightning USB adapter. I am able to do that with my older iPhone X though. If I import this kind of video with my iPhone X and then airdrop it to the iPad, I have this error: “Failed to save item. Save to iCloud Drive instead?” This iPad is supposed to have A13 Bionic chip, while my iPhone X has A11 Bionic. How is this possible? Please help.

Thumbnails not showing in iPad files app I use iPad to transfer raw files of images to an external hard drive for back up when travelling. Sony A7iii files of approx 24 mb thumbnails appear. Sony A6700 files of approx 28 mb no thumbnail images appear. Images transfer OK but not able to view thumbnails. Will Apple update code soon for Sony A6700 raw images?

Hello,

Lets try a few things. Have you tried importing the videos onto a Macintosh or Windows PC? This message often indicates the video files are corrupt.
