Car Bluetooth volume to low.

My iPhone X Bluetooth volume is low.

While you are in a call, try turning the volume up on the iPhone. Seems on some vehicles that will improve the volume. Then you can control the volume a little better with the vehicle. While pressing on the volume on the phone, you may see Bluetooth over the volume icon.
