Removing audio from a mp4 clip

I am trying to clip 2 short mp4 videos together on Quicktime Player 10.4 on my Mac but I want to remove the audio from the second clip so the video continues but without the audio because it's not in sequence. Every time I do that it deletes the clip completely, audio and video. Any suggestions please?!?!

Welcome to Apple Support Communities! I understand from your post that you're unable to edit the audio only in your clip using QuickTime. I love editing clips and I'd be happy to help out.


With what you're wanting to do, QuickTime does not have the editing function to do this. However, iMovie has the tools to edit the audio in your clips. You can find out how to do this using the link below:
