I am getting a message about a proxy server and can not access anything through a web browser even from emails and my battery is draining faster now

No. I'm saying contact the administrator of the WiFi network you're connected to.
This is a local network issue. There is a proxy server on that network that requires authentication to reach the Internet.
If your phone isn't jailbroken, then there are no malware or viruses on it. There is nothing in the wild that can affect an iOS device that is not jailbroken.
Remove the VPN app completely, including any management profile it may have installed.
Contact your network administrator or help desk.

No that is not the issue my WiFi is turned off and I am in the field on a jobsite with no WiFi anywhere near me
Are you using a VPN? If so turn it off.
I have an app that uses one but that is not it that app has been running for a year this something new how do I check for malware or virus on the iPhone xs
