2019 MacBook Pro 15" -- running super hot

Just purchased the 15" MacBook Pro about three weeks ago and use it mostly for work — design and development. But when I sit down at my midi keyboard and fire up MainStage, the machine gets VERY hot, right across the top, above the touch bar. Don't hear any fan(s) kicking in.

Can't be good for it to get as hot as it's getting, and I need this machine to run MainStage without a meltdown. Is this an unfixable issue related to the thin chassis, or is there something that can be done to resolve this?
