Calendar app glitch in iPadPro

Did I create too many calendars in Calendar app on my iPad Pro (10.5-inch)? Currently I have 9 of them. So whenever I hide some of them to work on others, all of a sudden some calendars would appear, or disappear by themselves whenever I start working of them.

Besides, the sync between my iPad Pro and iMac is not consistent for Calendar, as well for Notes. Though the iMac is relatively old (8 years maybe), and might not be smart enough to catch up with newer iPad.

Thanks for your ideas.

Hello,

What may be occurring is that due to the age of your iMac it does not support macOS Power Nap. This is a feature that lets your Mac run backups, synchronize iCloud, and other things while the Macintosh is in sleep mode. While your iMac may be asleep or powered off it will retain an old copy of your iCloud Calendar data and when it comes back online it attempts to merge the data with what it knows and what it can see on iCloud. To help troubleshoot this, try to have your iMac powered on and Calendar open while editing your calendars on your iPad. This will help us determine if it’s a synchronizing issue or something else.
