INTERNAL STORAGE iPHONE 6 PLUS

Where is my DCIM folder?? I open the iPhone file, click on internal storage, and I get the message, "This folder is empty." Ain't no way. I have multiple pictures and videos on the phone, so there should be a DCIM file. Correct?? Then, where is it and how do I get there? I have already done a hard restart, insured that the phone was unlocked, and then connected the USB connection. Nothing!!! Any ideas or suggestions?

How are you attempting to look at this information? If you are referring to using a Windows computer to view the contents of the iPhone, understand that you first need to Trust the computer, and if using Windows 10, the computer may not always read the iPhone. That is a limitation that I have discovered while working with my Windows 10 computer. And, the computer will only read if there are photos in the Camera Roll, not photos that have been synced over from iTunes. And, if you have imported the photos already, but kept them in the Camera Roll, they may not be visible either.
