Single sign on TV provider

I closed my old Xfinity account and now use my husbands. I removed Xfinity as my TV provider on my phone. When I try to add my new Xfinity account as my TV provider, I can’t! It does not prompt me for credentials and automatically logs me into my old account. Now none of my TV apps will work. How do I fix this?

This is what I get when trying to sign into a TV app. This one is History Channel App. When I click unlock all content, a pop up asks if I can use my Xfinity TV provider. If I click ok I get the screen below. If I click no, and it allows me to select from providers, I select Xfinity and get the same screen below.


Its using an xfinity account that I have closed.

In other words, this confirms ‘no Single Sing-on’. Single Sign-on would mean not having to sign in to each one individually.

Maybe. You conclude this from what? (I can’t tell that from what you have shown here.)

Did you contact their Customer Support? What did they say? Is there a wait period for account changes to be effective for access?

Most services on mobile seem to be from within the Xfinity Stream app. Maybe none of the external apps are supported with this service?
