multiple printers and computers

How can I connect 2 printers to 2 Macs using ethernet? I'm using 2 iMacs (Mojave OS) and 2 Xerox Phaser printers. I want to be able to print to either printer from either computer. Neither printer is wireless. Both have ethernet and USB ports but for some unknown reason, I prefer ethernet. Thank you in advance for your advice.

Your Xerox’s will need to connect via their IP address. You will need to research in their manual to locate how to find that info.

once you have the IP address google “OS X connect printer with IP address “ and you will find instructions.

Success! I can print to either printer from both computers. I didn't realize I could use my AirPort Extreme to create a network and include printers. I'm old-school, working with Macs since 1988. So much has changed over the years. I remember when changing the mouse required a reboot. And when Photoshop didn't have a "layers" feature. Thanks for your help!
