I have a new MacBook Pro, and I want to print something from my laptop to my home printer, on our Wi-Fi network, wirelessly. How do add a new printer to my Printer Options?

To make sure Printers are easily discoverable, set Wi-Fi IPv6 to link-local only. This allows Bonjour Discovery Protocol to find such devices.
When I do that, this is what I get in the Add-A printer dialog (Click [+] under the box of printers available) on my home Network:
