How do I stop my messages appearing on all devices?

I have 3 iPhones and 3 iPads all sharing my Apple ID as they are my children’s. However, my kids are seeing everything I receive. I am particularly keen to stop them receiving my SMS and phone calls. Please help. I’m useless.

Sharing an Apple ID is doomed to failure and will cause endless problems. You're seeing it.

Sign the kids out on your other devices and get them their own if they're over 13.
