Locked out iPhone

My son always uses my old iPhone and he is younger and got locked out of the iPhone multiple times and now it won’t allow me to log back in at all. The serial number to the phone is in my name and I know the login info but it doesn’t allow me to do anything. Is there anything I can do or do I need to bring it into apple ?
