You need a web browser , open a new tab in it ( use command and T keys ) , and enter with Apple ID and password used in iPhone at www.icloud.com a pop up window will appear in iPhone , your apple id is being used to sign in on the web near some location will be shown two options will be shown ( a ) allow ( b ) do not allow , so click on allow an Apple ID verification code will appear on the iPhone and enter this code in Mac , click on ok , you will enter the Apple ID account of yours that is set up on the iCloud server but viewing in the Mac .

Click on settings .

Under iCloud settings , you can see storage .

Hover your cursor on the iCloud storage bar from left to right , you will see the photo storage of the iPhone .

Then click on sign out a pop up window appears .

It depends upon you to click on sign out directly or trust and sign out .
