How to charge iPod Shuffle 1st generation without a PC?

Hi,

I've been searching for a related topic for days and still haven't found any answer. I'm still using Ipod Shuffle 1 generation (white) , that last to work for 8-9 hours. I'm planning a trip and will be without PC on my way. Is there any possibility to charge the iPod - that means without connecting to a PC?

I've already tried some chargers that I have at home (all provided by Samsung for their Galaxy Line Smartphones, 5V) do not work. Powerbanks are also not charging this device.

Does someone have try any option that works?

Thank you.

Tom

Hi, Tom,

It sounds like you are in need of a power adapter to charge your iPod shuffle from a wall outlet while traveling. I'd be happy to help!

Apple sells a 5W USB power adapter that is compatible with the iPod shuffle. You would plug your USB data and power cable into the adapter, and plug the adapter into the wall. You can find it for sale in the Apple online store: Apple 5W USB Power Adapter - Apple. You may be able to buy it in-store at an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Reseller, as well: Apple - Find Locations.

Enjoy your trip!

A USB-C apple cord, connected into the iPod by connecting to the USB then you can use a power port to connect into the wall, or a power port with a USB port that connects into a power outlet.
