Trying to pair watch to new phone and forgot original apple id password

I purchased my apple watch 2 years ago and forgot what the apple id password was when I initially set up the watch. I recently updated my apple id password and got a new phone. I am trying to pair the watch to the new phone and do not recall the old password so I am stuck in the set up setting and cannot move forward with pairing. How can I retrieve my old password?
