Manual sync of photos in iTunes
When I try to manually sync my photos from my MacBook Pro to my iPhoneX using iTunes, the albums I created in PHOTOS don't appear for me to select them individually.
MacBook Pro 15”, macOS 10.14
Do any albums appear? Are you set up to sync photos manually; e.g., have iCloud Photos turned off in your iPhone’s Settings > Photos?
