Activation Lock

I bought an iPad around 6 years ago from another person. She removed it from her account and I signed into it with my Apple ID. I used my iPad as recently as July 14.

Today when I turn it on, it is asking me to enter the activation lock details and my Apple ID details are not being accepted. I get the message "This device cannot be unlocked using this Apple ID".

It is expecting me to provide it the original owner's Apple ID/Password.

What do i do now?
