Hi Guys,

I have intention to manually upgrade my iMac Mid-2010, especially the processor.

Any chance if you all have the knowledge to recommend the highest capability processor for 2010 iMac to take?

Look forward to your inputs.

Thanks.

With 99.9999% certainty, the answer to that question is no.

The motherboard would not support it. For a start the pins don't match. Same problem you would have trying this on PCs of the same vintage.

They use an LGA 1156 socket, the i9 is LGA 1151 socket.
