Missing Menu Bar in the App Store

Good day Community,

I currently have a Mid 2011 27-inch iMac running OS 10.13.6 High Sierra. Regardless of what computer profile I am in, the App Store application on the iMac is missing the Menu Bar Icons at the top. I have tried logging out and in of the App Store account but to no avail. Even when you go up to the very top menu bar and click on the Store drop down the "Featured, Top Charts, Categories, Purchased and Updates" selections are missing. I've searched the internet for an answer but keep running into solutions for the iPhone not the iMac nor the App Store software itself. Below is an example of an App Store with the Menu Bar and one with out. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thnx

"Stand alone" is in reference to the fact you are not going to find the app to download a new version independent of reinstalling the entirety of the macOS. It is bundled with the macOS.

The Combo update may refresh the app— if not reinstall the macOS from Recovery on top of your existing macOS.

What is that mactech???

.

If it is third party interferences—try a Safeboot

 Try a SafeBoot https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262

Takes noticeable longer to get to the login screen, does a 5-15 minute disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, including dynamic loader cache,  etc.  —login and test your AppStore.

This test will tell you if third party interference; extensions etc are not loaded in safe boot mode.

Hi Leroydouglas, I will restart in SafeBoot and see if that does the trick. If not I will run System Recovery and see if it resolves my issue. I tried doing the Combo updates but the installer came back saying that the Disk did not meet the requirements for the update even though it is already on OS 10.13.6. As for the MacTech, lol, that is a server I use for storage. Thnx
