I have an iPhone XR and the Face ID won’t set up

Hello.

If Face ID is disabled and if you restarted your phone, cleaned the sensor, removed any kind of screen protector and your issue with Face ID persists, then it means something went wrong with the TrueDepth camera system.

Schedule an appointment at a Genius Bar or an Apple Authorized Service Provider.

I've made an appointment at my local store for tomorrow pm,is it likely a software issue or will they replace the handset?

It's still under warranty until June 2020.

I've noticed i cant set up the emoji or memoji function so i suspect its a camera issue.
